![]() ![]() If someone can think of why this is happening that would be great to hear. Higher print speed above 97 mm/s yield similar results as the 97 mm/s profile. It seems like this is happening only for this model. The 96 mm/s profile yielded a skirt/first layer speed of around F1140 (19 mm/s) while the 97 mm/s feed rate profile yielded a skirt/first layer speed of around F5760 (96 mm/s)Īfter testing this on another model these very specific print speeds do not yield similar results. This means the first layer print speed is set for 20 mm/s.īoth of these were generated with Cura 13.06.4 as you can see from the gcode. Mind you both of these profiles are default except for the two print speed above. Then I changed the print speed to 97 mm/s and saved the gcode which is attached. Maybe it doesn't solve your problem, but you can give it a try. Don't ask why, just an idea I got from somewhere else. Then I changed the print speed to 96 mm/s and saved the gcode which is attached. Posted Cura settings to force combing on first layer Try to set under Travel / Layer Start X and Layer Start Y to 0 and be sure to have a Skirt enabled. I made sure I chose 'reset profile to default' before doing these tests.įirst I loaded up the model mentioned above, belt tensioner wave.stl. You profile was broken, so there is nothing worthwhile to keep, IMHO.Īfter some more tests with generating gcode I came up with this. ![]() Now, how to solve it: probably the easiest thing is to select 'reset profile to default' from the file menu. That means your initial complaint (too quick) meshes with the gcode, the machine does what it is told again! I need to change the first layer build plate temperature to try to improve adhesion for a large part. G1 Z15.0 F9000 move the platform down 15mmĪs you can see, the old one drops to F1200.0 (20mm/s), the new one goes to F5820 (97mm/s). I have tried googling and going into settings, checking the 'initial build plate temperature', and then going back to the material settings page.
